Let’s check in on the current state of evangelicals and politics:
National Public radio is talking about “Evangelicals for Harris.”
Ralph Reed remains all in:
So is Reed’s Faith & Freedom Coalition:
A glimpse into the Latino evangelicals who attend Samuel Rodriguez’s megachurch.
John Inazu on evangelicals in a diverse democracy.
Evangelicals weigh-in on Trump and his abortion flip-flops. And here. And here.
CBS News discovers Lance Wallnau.
Speaking of Lance:
Jenna Ellis on Tuesday night’s debate:
Australians try to figure out why Christians support Trump
Jim Wallis on what divides us.
Eric Metaxas celebrates Dershowitz leaving the Democratic Party:
Metaxas and Beck getting ready to claim election fraud if Trump loses:
Some evangelicals have issued a “Confession of Evangelical Conviction.” It looks like the Bebbington Quadrilateral is still alive!
Robert Jeffress also has election advice:
The National Religious Broadcasters want to use pulpits and other tax-exempt organizations to endorse candidates.
A theobro on CNN:
We may be in a Bonhoeffer moment, but not in the way Tony Perkins understands it:
Jack Hibbs does not want evangelicals to vote for a “death cult.”
He also has some voting advice:
Not the donkey or the elephant:
Justin Giboney on the need to persuade:
FYI, the “Bonhoeffer quote” that Tony Perkins cited is spurious. It does not appear in any of Bonhoeffer’s works. https://wthrockmorton.com/2016/08/25/the-popular-bonhoeffer-quote-that-isnt-in-bonhoeffers-works/
Maybe, the “Evangels” should stop all the advice and posts entirely. The-Evangel Christian- community
are not voting for a -Pope, Priest, Pastor or Spiritual Leader. WE are voting for a Person and their Policy
Ideology.
If anyone who votes, doesn’t evaluate the policies T and H brought while in office, then you are
BLIND and beyond advice, anyway.
H. will continue to be H. no matter how much she tries to put a -New Coat of Paint, on it. WhieWash is only a Facade.
