Did Marjorie Taylor Greene underestimate Mike Johnson’s evangelical support?

A fair point from Rick Warren:

Metaxas on Mike Johnson and Mike Pence:

Pious "Christian" leaders like Johnson and Pence confuse the approval of CNN and the NYTimes with the approval of God. Give me patriots who love this country and are willing to fight for liberty. https://t.co/XODzDZOSrK

Re: Jack Hibbs and William Federer- Did Federer seriously quote Mencken in defense of evangelical politics? Quite convenient to leave out what followed: “Power is what all messiahs really seek: not the chance to serve. This is true even of the pious brethren who carry the gospel to foreign parts.” Furthermore, did Hibbs really mean it when he called this gross neglect of context (and footnotes) “incredible documentation?”
