See my comment for the Hamline University and reserve the Right-Wing/Left-Wing order!

This action of Gov. Huckabee, is not entirely crazy, just misguided. The term “Latinx” is extremely unpopular among Hispanics and downright loathed among some of my friends, who consider it a bunch condescending elite jargon. But why ban it though? That’s not a good look. It would be better to follow the path of persuasion and issue a general directive , like “Out of respect for how the vast majority wishes to be addressed, we recommend the terms Hispanic and Latino/a”
