CURRENT takes Grove City, Pennsylvania by storm!

John Fea   |  February 23, 2025

Current founders (L to R): Eric Miller, John Fea, Jay Green

The gathering was planned several months ago as a Current strategy session. It became a celebration of four years of intellectual labor together.

Most of our editorial staff and contributing editors met in Grove City, Pennsylvania this weekend. The occasion was the Eastern Regional Meeting of the Conference on Christianity and Literature at Grove City College. Several Current editors–Eric Miller, Elizabeth Stice, Agnes Howard, Nadya Williams, Jim Cullen (he wrote about the conference here), Christopher Shannon, and Robert Erle Barham–were on the program. Following the conference we met at a local restaurant and toasted the end of our odyssey. I know I speak for Jay Green and Eric Miller when I say how grateful we are for the people in these photos and those contributing editors who could not make it Grove City this weekend.

Current will cease publication on April 4, 2025.
