Here Ruth Graham at The New York Times “Trump Transition” blog:

Sean Feucht, a prominent conservative Christian activist with ties to President-elect Donald J. Trump, announced this week that he would headline a rally at a Catholic parish in Washington on the night before the inauguration. The problem: He had not received approval from the parish, St. Joseph’s on Capitol Hill, or from the archdiocese of Washington.

Feucht’s announcement on Monday of a gathering in anticipation of “a new president, a new administration, a new agenda” came as a surprise to the parish’s pastor, Fr. William Gurnee. Gurnee said in an email that he felt the event “would be better hosted at another location.”

Feucht, a former musician at a large evangelical church in Northern California who toured the country protesting pandemic restrictions in 2020 and was subsequently a guest of Trump’s in the Oval Office, did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
