In advance of the one-year mark of the Hamas attack on Israel, the BBC last week aired a documentary about the attack on the Supernova music festival. Hamas massacred over 360 people at the festival and took multiple hostages. And yet, the BBC required the filmmakers to remove all references to Hamas as a terrorist organization. The filmmakers agreed, noting wisely that the atrocities they document speak for themselves. As we learn more about the attacks, the atrocities appear only worse.
Here is a brief description of the documentary:
“We Will Dance Again,” which runs 91 minutes and has also been shown across the world at special screenings and film festivals in recent weeks, delves into festival-goers’ experience during the all-night rave before it was attacked in the morning, and then documents the assault itself and relates the survivors’ efforts to piece together their lives in the aftermath.
