Another part of my childhood is gone. No change for Mets radio. Here is Mets radio legend Howie Rose:

When I worked morning drive for the first time with news giants Jim Donnelly and Bob Vaughan I felt as though I had reached the top of my profession. Then and now, their entire staff have been totally dedicated to providing exemplary news coverage. (More)

The WCBS call letters are historic and iconic and as a born and bred New Yorker who has been privileged to call them my radio home several times over the course of my career I shall miss them terribly and feel eternally honored to have had the privilege of representing them.
