Donald Trump responds to Joe Biden’s exit from the race

John Fea   |  July 21, 2024

Apparently the assassination attempt on his life “changed” Donald Trump. We saw it during his RNC convention speech. We see it here. 😉

Wow! Not a fan of Biden, never was, but kicking and stomping on an 81-year-old with infirmities and currently suffering from COVID (which tends to be more severe with the elderly) — appalling! And to borrow from Dean Acheson, what Trump is doing is worse than immoral, it is a mistake. His cruelty always seems to surface no matter the situation, I suspect many Americans will be reluctant to support a candidate who can’t evince a moral core.

I guess Trump is not done piling on, he told CNN, „He [Biden] is the worst president in the history of our country. He goes down as the single worst president by far in the history of our country.“

Curious, I always felt Woodrow Wilson was the worst US president, but then Trump‘s poor handling of the pandemic, pardoning of war criminals, handing Afghanistan back to the Taliban in negotiations that did not include the Afghan government, etc., etc., etc., made Trump the worst US president in history. Biden will never go down as a great prez (IMVHO), but Trump seems to have locked up the bottom slot — „by far“ for now.

Whatever happened to Buchanan? Seems like historians often say he was the worse.
