It seems that whenever the members of the Christian wing of the MAGA party suffer a loss, such as when their leader gets convicted on 34 felony charges–they turn to spiritual warfare. There is a certain logic to this move. People like Eric Metaxas, Charlie Kirk, Lance Wallnau, and others believe that angels and demons are at war for the soul of America. Trump is God’s anointed one and the Democratic Party represents the forces of Satan. If you believe this, and many Americans do, then it makes perfect sense that you will tweet stuff like this:
