Congratulations, Eric, on an excellent presentation! I did, indeed, appreciate the weaving together of Walker Percy, Flannery O’Connor, Wendell Berry,.. and St. Augustine and the valuation of the imagination grounded in the Logos. I do wish there had been more discussion afterwards. The second presentation was full of witty shots taken at both Cartesian dualism and notable Romantics (like Coleridge) but left me scratching my head as to what was being argued FOR.
