Is Christian music “rotting“?
Blame it on egalitarian women (with a response from Beth Moore):
Social justice is not biblical because it calls on government to do something. Allie Beth Stuckey may want to read more about, for example, how the church and localities failed to address Jim Crow. Yes, the government had to intervene on the side of biblical justice. Frankly, it is sad this is the best the world’s largest Christian university in the world, Liberty University, can offer on Christian political engagement.

This was an especially interesting Evangelical Roundup (Aug. 14,23). I don’t go on Twitter so I appreciate the repeat of some of the dialogue from there. I chuckled a bit. Beth Moore’s comment all up used a southern phrase, “God love you, Honey,” in her response to Tom Buck.
I am an Evangelical Christian, so my thought responses varied to the content. I fell gratitude Gratitude for an Evangelical Organization that participated in Iran’s conference.
Thank you.
Thanks Susan. I do these roundups for several reasons:
1. Folks like you who are not on Twitter can see what is going on.
2. I am writing a three volumes on evangelicals and politics in the 21st century and these roundups will help me go back and write the third book.
3. I am trying to offer a service to people who observe evangelicalism.
You may notice that I work hard to show the complexity of evangelical Christian. You will always find what I see as the good dimensions of evangelicalism above the “Blast from the Past” video.
Thanks again for reading and supporting CURRENT!
