There is no denying that we do live in a land where the prophets of Baal are braying loudly. Where many believers hang on the latest tweets from King Ahab. And where the 7,000 who have not bowed a knee to Baal are probably outnumbered by those who have. It is nonetheless still possible for those who take pains to listen that they may hear the still small voice, that they may be moved by the sheer silence from the Lord, and will continue to encourage the Hazaels, the Jehus, and the Elishas who carry on the work of the Lord in our day.
