Jeremy Sabella on which Reinhold Niebuhr is landing today

John Fea   |  August 30, 2021

Last week Current hosted its second bi-monthly event for Deep Water and Storm Surge patrons. Our guest was theologian, cultural critic, and Current author Jeremy Sabella. Jeremy talked about his work on Reinhold Niebuhr, his experience growing-up in Guatemala and Nicaragua, his love of the “sermonic essay,” and his current work on the theological language of the Cold War.

We will host our next event sometime in November. Stay tuned.

Not a Deep Water or Storm Surge patron? Click here to learn how to become one. Or please consider joining us at the Surface or Longshore tier. And, as always, please tell your friends about us!

Surface level patrons get an additional article each week. Longshore patrons get access to the extra article and the “A History of Evangelicals and Politics Podcast.” Deep Water and Storm Surge patrons get access to these special gatherings in addition to the Surface and Longshore benefits.

All of your support goes to covering our expenses, delivering our content, and paying our writers. Help us get this “little magazine” off the ground!
