As I type, CNN is reporting that Donald Trump, despite his public pronouncements, knows he lost this election. But some of his most ardent evangelical supporters still believe the president was re-elected.
Today was a special day for the court evangelicals. Donald Trump called-in to Eric Metaxas’s radio show. Metaxas told the president that “Jesus is with us” in the fight over voter fraud and said that he would “be happy to die in this fight.” We blogged about this a few hours ago.
Metaxas is willing to die to save Donald Trump and the republic. But does anyone think Trump himself would lay down his life for the nation?
Let’s see what else is happening in court evangelical land today.
In a normal world, the young Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis, a spokesperson for Liberty University’ Falkirk Center, would have ruined her career by defending Trump in these voter fraud cases. Granted, she will never be able to engage an audience larger than the one made-up of Trump’s most hard-core followers, but after this is all over there will be plenty of places for her to go, and plenty of clients for her to defend, in the pro-Trump Christian universe. She is destined to spend the rest of her career in this silo.
Charlie Kirk, the co-founder of Liberty University’s Falkirk Center, is not letting go:
Lance Wallnau interprets Kirk’s tweet:
Wallnau is also calling-out GOP senators who will not challenge “fake votes”:
Here is Wallnau last night on his Facebook page:
What is happening now in this critical, perhaps final week in combat with forces of darkness seeking a hostile takeover of our nation. Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia and Arizona update. We’ve found the weakness- nervous Republican Legislators! And I give you the strategy.
Wallnau’s video praises Doug Mastriano. He also chides his followers for not praying hard enough and not praying for the right people (state legislators). He and Eric Metaxas are now the same person.
The Falkirk Center at Liberty University is promoting some of their favorite people:
It appears they will contest this election to the end. The Falkirk Center was not around in 2016, but if they were I am sure they would have said the exact same thing. ;-):
I think this means Ralph Reed’s Faith & Freedom Coalition believes Trump won:
Court evangelical journalist David Brody is still at it:
Brody retweeted Dinesh D’Souza:
David Barton, Kirk Cameron, Charlie Kirk, and Michele Bachmann are “barnstorming” through Georgia.
Jim Garlow is still doing ZOOM prayer meetings for election integrity.
