I wish I could say that I was more productive this past weekend, but I did manage to refine my chapter one outline and organize the notes I took last week at the American Bible Society archives, and do some secondary reading.
I am back in New York for week three in the archives. I am hoping to make it to 1865 in the Bible Society Record by mid-week and then starting browsing through files of correspondence sent to the ABS between 1815 and 1865. This will position me for a solid week of writing at home next week.
Meanwhile, we have a new member of the ABS monograph team working in central PA this week. My daughter Allyson Fea is taking some notes on the ABS Annual Reports. As for the other members of the team, Katie Garland is still working on the period in ABS history between 1865 and 1918 and Katy Kaslow is now doing some research among the published memoirs of nineteenth-century ABS leaders. Needless to say, the team is running on all cylinders this week. Stay tuned.
