My July 4th reading |
Want to get some context for this post? Click here.
I spent most of my 4th of July mowing the lawn, watching World Cup, and hanging out with my family. I did, however, manage to get something done on the American Bible Society project. This morning I wrote about 800 more words in chapter one. Most of those words focus on the way Elias Boudinot, the first ABS president, connected his political career with his Christian faith.
As I mentioned in previous updates, my first drafts are always very rough. I pour all of my research into the draft, knowing that I will return to it over and over and over again in order to edit and refine.
I also spent about an hour today contacting a few editors.
I hope to keep writing tomorrow. Stay tuned.
