Blogness on the Edge of Town reports:
After a day of rumors, it’s finally official! Bruce Springsteen’s newest single, High Hopes, will be released on November 25, 2013. High Hopes was originally released by Scott McConnell’s band The Havalinas in 1990, and Springsteen covered it for the B-side of his 1996 EP Blood Brothers.
The song was resurrected in March 2013 during the Wrecking Ball tour in Australia. Now the question remains: Will the new album be Tracks 2 or a collection of covers? Only time will tell! In the mean time here’s High Hopes from March 20, 2013 in Sydney, Australia.
