Are Books Doomed?

Not even close according to these stats from the New Republic.  Trade hardcovers and paperbacks have taken only a slight dip in sales over the last four years and e-books have seen a 48x increase.  The book industry has made more money since 2008 and have larger profit margins.  I think I will keep writing.
