As the new semester starts to ramp up we are planning a new season of the Virtual Office Hours. Last year we did a series on historical thinking in preparation for the publication of Why Study History: Reflecting on the Importance of the Past. We also had some interviews with scholars and students, an extended episode covering National History Day, a few episodes from our summer research in the region, and much more. If you missed any of these episodes head over to YouTube to get caught up.
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ysAbk0NhVk]This Fall I plan to bring the Virtual Office Hours back into the classroom. I am contemplating doing a weekly series on teaching the U.S. History survey course, but I am also open to other suggestions.
Is there something you would like to see covered on the Virtual Office Hours? If so, please let me know and I would be happy to consider it.
Stay tuned….
I'll vote for your thoughts on teaching the US survey.
I am leaning this way, Paul. Thanks for the post.
Not sure if you've given much thought to it, but I wonder if you could speak about how you promote or brand your social media presence, or about social networking as a historian. Thx!
Christian: Great topic. Let me give this some thought–either for the Fall or a future series. Thanks for the comment!
Sometime business location exists only in cyberspace. It means it gives you the opportunity to access your business from any location. It is called virtual office. It allows the business owners and their employees to do their respective work from any location. Developed cities where everything depends on the internet, these countries really rely on these virtual office services. I know one company which is provide the virtual office services.
