The Messiah College Covered Bridge

John Fea   |  August 21, 2013 Leave a Comment

How many colleges have a large creek running through the middle of campus that is ranked as one of the best places to fly fish in the state? And better yet–how many colleges have a nineteenth-century restored covered bridge spanning the length of that creek leading to its athletic fields.

Check out Joseph Cress’s article in the Carlisle Sentinel on the famed Messiah College covered bridge.

His piece is a small consolation after Messiah was totally snubbed by a website called “Christian Universities Online” who recently listed the “25 Most Beautiful Christian Universities.”

The Messiah College men’s soccer team has appeared in 9 NCAA Division III national championship games since 2000 and has won every one of them.
