More on “Classic Evangelicalism”

John Fea   |  April 29, 2013 Leave a Comment

Gregory Thornbury and John Wilson discuss “classic evangelicalism.”  Warning: there is some serious hair going on in this video!  🙂

Thornbury is the author of Recovering Classic Evangelicalism” Applying the Wisdom and Vision of Carl F.H. Henry.  You can preview a chapter here.

One of my favorite parts of the video is when John Wilson refers to esteemed evangelical theologian J.I. Packer as “Jim Packer.” I don’t think I have ever heard the author of Knowing God called “Jim” before.

Wilson’s critique at 8:26 (and following) is absolutely on the mark.
