Now that Mike Huckabee is not running for president in 2012, he can devote a good chunk of his time to creating history cartoons for kids. Huckabee had launched a company called “Learn our History.
Learn our History promotes a series of cartoon videos called “Time Travel Academy” in which a “group of friends” travel back to different time periods to see history unfold before their eyes. Here is a blurb from the companies press release:
“America’s youth aren’t excited about our past because they’re being taught history in a way that minimizes what has made America a beacon of hope around the world for over 200 years. Instead, history lessons today often focus on America’s faults,” said Governor Huckabee. “It’s impossible to overestimate the importance of giving our children a historically accurate and unbiased education that allows kids today to enjoy and understand our history, and build their pride in our great nation.”

Doesn’t an entirely “unbiased” and “accurate” American history education also include discussion of America’s faults?
And when it comes time for WWII, a certain FDR is noooooooooooowhere to be seen.
Not exactly “Schoolhouse Rock!”
