And of course it has to be a blog post I wrote on the fly while riding my Garrisonian high horse of self-righteous indignation.
Those are often the best blog posts.
In reality, I don't think Barton's ideas spell the end of rational discourse about American history. They just make it a little bit more challenging. But I'm game. I will just need to steer clear of Sunday school.
Pls don't resist the urge to blog about it any further, Dr. Fea. All I've seen so far is ominous overtones, and frankly, innuendo. From the usual suspects.

Better than the NYT article, but not by much. Stewart's producer needs to get the author of _Was American Founded as a Christian Nation_, if he has the time.
