I dropped a bit more money today at the Camp Hill, PA Borders going out of business sale. (For last night’s purchases click here). Today’s acquisitions:
Marla Miller, Betsy Ross and the Making of America
Bethany Moreton, To Serve God and Wal-Mart: The Making of Christian Free Enterprise.
Richard Beeman, Plain, Honest Men: The Making of the American Constitution
Steven Pincus, 1688: The First Modern Revolution
Darren Dochuk, From Bible Belt to Sunbelt: Plain Folk Religion, Grassroots Politics, and the Rise of Evangelical Conservatism.
Vincent Cannato: American Passage: The History of Ellis Island.
And for my fourth-grader: The Encyclopedia of Immaturity: Volume 2.
And for my seventh-grader: a blank diary.
I thought about buying both Moreton and Dochuck when I was at the Camp Hill Borders last weekend. Alas, my grad student budget wouldn't allow me to drop that much cash! Enjoy them both.
