A Good Visit to Caldwell College

John Fea   |  March 10, 2011 Leave a Comment

This afternoon I lectured on Was America Founded as a Christian Nation at Caldwell College,  a Catholic college (Dominican) in northern New Jersey.  Bill Barnhart, a professor of history at Caldwell and the director of the college honors program, was a most gracious host.  We had a nice turn out at the lecture and we even sold some books.  It was good to see some old friends and to make a few new ones.  Not only did I meet all the members of the college’s history and political science department, but I also had a chance to chat with an incoming Messiah College history major and his father, a local Evangelical Free Church pastor, and two graduates of Montville High School.  And to top it all off, my mother and father were there!

I am off to southern New Jersey tomorrow for an evening engagement in the Atlantic City area.
