Stumbling on the Ruins of an Early 20th Century Manor

Every time Nick Carr drove on the Palisades Parkway in Rockland County, New York he noticed a “strange castle-like structure” set back off the road.  One day he decided to stop and check it out.  What he found was the remains of  “Cliff Dale Manor,” an abandoned mansion built in 1911 on the cliffs overlooking the Hudson River.
