Tomorrow afternoon (March 9, 2011) at 4:30pm I will be lecturing on Was America Founded as a Christian Nation at Caldwell College in Caldwell, NJ. If you live in the northern New Jersey area feel to stop by and say hello.

The History and Political Science Department and the Scholars program at Caldwell College will sponsor a talk entitled “Was America Founded as a Christian Nation?” by Dr. John Fea, Chair of the History Department at Messiah College, The lecture is scheduled for Wednesday, March 9, at 4:30 p.m. at Caldwell College in the Werner Hall lecture hall on the first floor.
Dr. Fea is the author of The Way of Improvement Leads Home: Philip Vickers Fithian and the Rural Enlightenment in Early America, as well as Was America Founded as a Christian Nation: A Historical Introduction.
Fea is currently an Associate Professor of American History and Chair of the History Department at Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania. He speaks widely on various aspects of early American history, including religion and the American founding, and the history of New Jersey in the colonial and revolutionary era.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
