According to the Springsteen fan site Stony Pony London, the Bruce Springsteen exhibit that has been showing for the last two years at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland is coming to the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia in 2012.
Stan Goldstein reports:
The Bruce Springsteen exhibit “From Asbury Park to the Promised Land” closed this past Sunday at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland after an almost two-year run.
Bruce Springsteen himself visited the exhibit on the final day, late Sunday afternoon, before the museum closed. Annie Zaleski, the music editor for the Riverfront Times out of St. Louis was there and reports about it here.
Several pictures of Bruce’s visit to the Hall on Sunday are on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s website.
If you missed the exhibit, it appears it will be opening at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia in the Spring of 2012 according to a posting on the Springsteen fan internet site Stone Pony London.
I know many fans in the New Jersey area who weren’t able to make the trip to Cleveland to see this great exhibit, so this is great news.
I will be there. Perhaps more than once.
