Book Tour Kicked Off Tonight at Bethany Village

John Fea   |  March 4, 2011 Leave a Comment

It was symbolic place to start a busy few months of speaking to audiences about Was America Founded as a Christian Nation: A Historical Introduction.

About four years ago I gave a talk at Bethany Village, a retirement center in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, with the title “Was America Founded as a Christian Nation.”  It was the first time I had spoken publicly on this subject.  Since then I have given a dozen or so talks on this topic, but it was the good folks at Bethany Village who served as my initial “guinea pigs” for this book project.

I have spoken at Bethany Village many times since that original lecture, but tonight I was able to return with copies of Was America Founded in hand.  As usual, the audience was welcoming and engaged.  And we even sold some books!

Thanks again to the Venture Series committee at Bethany Village for inviting me, especially Rev. Gene Davis.

Off to Doylestown Book Shop tomorrow.  I hope some of you in the area will come out for the talk at 8pm.
