
You occasionally see this argument being made by the defenders of Christian America, but I have never seen it so blatantly displayed. A colleague sent this to me recently. It was apparently taken at Disney World.

As an Anabaptist I actually read this as an indictment of Christians who look to the government to be all of the things that only God can be. I tend to feel that we should “render to Caesar”, but realize that our primary citizenship is not “American”, but Christians, and we are aliens and strangers anywhere we find ourselves on earth. Interesting to think of this as pro-“American-style government”.
