Are Americans Lazy and Obese? Is Bob Scheiffer a Presentist? Is Edmund Morris Crazy?

John Fea   |  December 2, 2010 Leave a Comment

Take a few minutes and check out presidential historian and Teddy Roosevelt scholar Edmund Morris on last Sunday’s “Face the Nation.” He appears with Arianna Huffington, Ron Chernow, and Bob Woodward.

Pick up the clip at about 11:30 minute mark. Actually, I think his comments about Bob Schieffer’s “presentist” questions about the Founding Fathers are pretty good–“you can’t pluck people out the past.”  Although I could probably do without the My Cousin Vinny reference.
