New Jersey History Partnership Website

John Fea   |  February 18, 2010

If you are high school teacher in search of resources you should check out the New Jersey History Partnership website.

Sponsored by Kean University and Montville Township High School (my alma mater!), and funded by a grant from the Teaching American History program, it is a one-stop shop for information on the American Revolution, the Market Revolution, and the Progressive Era.

In addition to lesson plans, video clips, links to historical sites, time lines, and primary sources, the site also includes audio links to lectures by leading scholars in the fields. You can listen to lectures by Brendan McConville, Gregory Dowd, Jean Soderlund, Maxine Lurie, Carl Prince, Sheila Skemp, Susan Hirsch, Peter Wacker, Michael Birkner, Graham Hodges, Mark Lender, Clement Price, and John Milton Cooper.

Very well done. I hope to listen to a few lectures myself when I get a chance.
