Calling All History Majors: Past and Present!

John Fea   |  January 18, 2010 Leave a Comment

Our series “So What CAN You Do With a History Major.” (click on the link to see previous posts) has been really taking off. See the most recent plug for the series here. I sent out this call last month and heard from some of you, but I am hoping to hear from more of you so we can keep the series going.

Were you a history major in college? If so, what are you doing today? How have you put your history major to use in the marketplace? I am interested in hearing from history majors who have used their liberal arts/humanities training to land jobs in a variety of fields, but would love to hear from those of you doing history-related things as well.

NOTE: If we have already featured a post on a person doing something similar to you feel free to send in your story anyway. All of our vocational pilgrimages are different, even when we end up in relatively the same place. In other words, our readers can learn something from you!

Drop me an e-mail at jfea(at)messiah(dot)edu and tell me your story. Perhaps you can be featured in the next installment of our “So What CAN You Do With a History Major” feature.

Thanks!
