Conscientious Objectors on Heatlh Care

John Fea   |  January 12, 2010 Leave a Comment

It looks like not all Americans will be required to have mandatory health care. There are some religious sects–such as the Amish and Christian Science Church–that will fall under a “religious conscience” exemption. The exemption is currently a part of both the Senate and the House health care reform bills. (HT: Joe Carter).

It will only be a matter of time before someone comes along and claims that their “religious conscience” dictates that government should not be interfering in health care.
