Creeping Down to 200 Words a Day

John Fea   |  January 4, 2010 Leave a Comment

According to Cambridge “don” Mary Beard, “when you creep down to 200 words a day, you have a problem–and you almost certainly need to rethink.”

Check out Beard’s nice little reflection on writing a history book. As someone who is currently locked in my basement office with little food and water trying to churn out a book manuscript that is due later this month, I can relate.

OK, John–stop blogging and get back to the manuscript!
