I found your blog, as these internet searches often go, way off the beaten path of my original quest. After reading about your book and other ideas that you have expressed I am interested in knowing what you believe is the most important issue in American government today. On Thursday, May 7, I am scheduled to speak at our Cumberland County, NJ, National Day of Prayer event. This is my 3rd year as one of seven speakers on seven different topics of national concern: Military, Education, Family, Business, Media, Church and Government. My topic this year is Government. The text I chose is Romans 10:21 “But to Israel he says:
“ All day long I have stretched out My hands
To a disobedient and contrary people.”
I only have 5 minutes to communicate with the folks and pray. I would highly value your opinion and am stepping way outside of my personal box in asking you this!
I have been curious about Philip Vickers Fithian, his Christianity and his personal relationship with God ever since I moved to an area a few miles down the road from his old neighborhood. I plan to buy your book. And if you’re not doing anything on Thurs. at 6:00 pm, come out and join us at the Cumberland County Community church in Millville, this year’s venue.
