Home Improvement

John Fea   |  November 22, 2008

As my regular readers know, my biography of eighteenth-century diarist Philip Vickers Fithian is entitled The Way of Improvement Leads Home. Because the words “improvement” and “home” are part of the title, the book is often picked up by Internet booksellers who sell books on “home improvement.” As a result, you can find my book alongside books entitled Home Improvement Made Easy, Home Improvement Essential Skills, Lowe’s Complete Home Improvement and Repair, and My Home, My Money Pit. On another website my book is selling alongside a book entitled Advanced Masonry.

I am not sure what to make of this, but if you have purchased The Way of Improvement from a Home Improvement website I would love to hear from you!

Hi Matt: Yes, I think the same website I listed in the post actually sells “Home Improvement” DVDs!

Is your book ever listed next to DVD’s of the television show “Home Improvement” with Tim Allen?
